In light of star streamer Dr Disrespect getting banned on Twitch, fellow gaming celebrities Tyler ‘Ninja‘ Blevins and Turner ‘Tfue‘ Tenney have taken opposite stances on the matter.

The online gaming community received a major shock when Dr Disrespect IRL Twitch stream from the E3 gaming convention suddenly went offline, his channel disappearing from the website’s directory.

It quickly became apparent that the Two-Time had been banned from the platform, likely for having gone into a public restroom at the event while the cameras were still rolling behind him.

Predictably, his sudden suspension drew reactions from many prominent content creators, including Ninja and Tfue.

As far as Tfue’s reaction goes, the FaZe star made his stance clear by tweeting out a screenshot of him wearing sunglasses and a fake mustache, captioned by a simple message: “Free Dr Disrespect.”

As for Ninja, he first reacted with similar style to Tfue’s tweet, posting an image of himself wearing steely sunglasses, a long blonde wig, and a fake mustache, and including a cheeky caption.

“Mr Respectful would have never slipped this hard,” he tweeted.

However, the superstar streamer made his position on the matter much more clear in a response to esports insider Rod ‘Breslau’ Slasher, who had tweeted that he believed Twitch made the correct decision in choosing to suspend the Doc.

It’s a no brainer dude,” Ninja replied. “I love him, but when you break the rules, you get punished. It’s that simple.”

At this point, it’s not clear how long Doc will be prohibited from streaming on Twitch, although it’s likely to be no more than 24 hours.

Considering his prominence as a celebrity streamer, there is a chance that the platform could choose to make his suspension shorter than what it normally would be.

When he does return, it will be interesting to hear his side of how things led to the point where his channel got shut down, and whether or not he’ll have something to say about Ninja agreeing with his suspension.

As always, we will continue to bring you the latest on this ongoing story, as more information becomes available.
