Mojang Studios add Technoblade Minecraft tribute

As fans across the globe shared their love for the late YouTuber, one fan appealed to Mojang directly to create “an Easter egg in Minecraft for us all to remember Technoblade.”

The call out worked and it wasn’t long before fans noticed a familiar face in the Minecraft: Lava Edition launcher.

Perched on top of a rock, one of the game’s beloved pigs can be seen wearing a crown-a nod to Technoblade’s YouTube icon.

The tribute was widely praise by Twitter-users who found it incredibly touching. A number of fans, for example, claimed the change had them “sobbing.”

Another suggested that the new addition becomes permanent: “I hope they keep it that way, Technoblade deserves all the love he gets for entertaining the Minecraft community.”

This is just one of many touching tributes to come for Technoblade as many of his fellow creators have also claimed that they have ideas in the works to help keep his legacy alive.
