Jake Paul reveals failed attempt to reconcile with Erika Costell on New Year’s Eve
Controversial YouTuber Jake Paul spilled the beans on his plan to score a New Year’s kiss from his ex-girlfriend, model Erika Costell – who had a fairly decisive reaction to the incident.

Paul shared a screenshot from his phone to his Instagram story on December 31, which showed a failed facetime call between himself and Costell.
“No New Year’s Eve kiss for me,” Paul captioned the screenshot, pulling a disappointed face in the background.

Paul went on to Tweet a possible reaction to Erika’s rejection, writing, “Hopless romantic,” in a post on January 2.
While Costell has yet to publicly comment on the matter, she confirmed that she is currently out of the dating scene in a Q & A video on December 19, answering with a decisive, “Oh, hell no,” when asked if she had a boyfriend.

This wouldn’t be the first time Paul has posted about Costell on his Instagram story as of late, either; the YouTuber mentioned his breakup with Erika in his 2018 recap story, sharing an emotional video of himself sobbing over the split while being comforted by a friend.
Paul also posted a photo of himself and Costell embracing on a beach, captioning the photo, “Will always have a piece of my heart.”
Paul has likewise covered his split with the model and music artist in his ‘Jake Paul Uncut’ documentary series, which he revealed is making a return following his open challenge to FaZe Banks.
