YouTuber FaZe Rug went skydiving in a video to celebrate 10 million subscribers on his channel.
Things did not go according to plan as he lost consciousness multiple times in mid-air.
Thankfully, he had an instructor with him who stayed perfectly conscious throughout the skydive.
FaZe Rug’s nerves were evident right before the jump, saying he was having second thoughts and felt light-headed.
The jump was filmed and FaZe Rug can be seen going in and out of consciousness, failing to control his head and limbs as the instructor tries to hold him in place.
The video is below, with the skydiving section starting at the 5:00 minute mark.
Rug described what happened.
The second I looked down and we jumped, that’s when I lost consciousness. I didn’t know what was going on and I don’t remember jumping out of the plane.
When we first jumped out I was unconscious, then I opened my eyes and saw that we were in the air, then I passed out again. Then I regained consciousness, I think this happened three times until I actually got a hold of myself.
