Emongg makes a young fan’s day with a shoutout on stream

Streamer Jeff ‘emongg’ Anderson is one of the the most popular Overwatch streamers on Twitch, who recently made a young fan’s day with a simple, ”Hello.”

Bri Mortensen’s son, Kai, is a big fan of emongg, but was confused why the streamer never seemed to talk back when Kai spoke into the microphone.

Thus, his parents reached out to emongg on Twitter and asked him to give their son a shoutout, since he was a huge fan.

The Tweet has since blown up, garnering over 1,000 likes as of January 10. Emongg replied by saying that he would make it a point to give Kai a shoutout.

When the time came and Kai was tuned in, emongg greeted him with a simple “Hi Kai, how are you?” which obviously made the little guy’s day.

Kai was so excited that he even offered the microphone to his parents for them to say something to the streamer.

This is definitely the cutest Overwatch clip of the year – and probably one of the most wholesome things a streamer has ever done.

Emongg is streaming right now as part of Overwatch’s Bastet challenge. Players can earn exclusive sprays by watching him and other featured Overwatch streamers for up to six hours.

Players likewise have the opportunity to earn an exclusive Ana skin by winning nine games in any Overwatch game mode – but only until January 21.
