Spanish Twitch sensation El Rubius has officially challenged xQc to a fight during Ibai’s La Velada Del Año II boxing event after more than a year of the two bantering over the internet.

Rubén “El Rubius” Gundersen took the stage at the record-breaking La Velada Del Año II creator boxing event and shocked the world by making a big time callout.

The Norwegian-Spanish superstar kept it brief and clear for his longtime internet nemesis Félix “xQc” Lengyel: “X, I’m waiting for you…come.”

xQc and Rubius have been teasing this matchup for a while but this is the most serious development yet.

During an interview in the middle of the Rubius used the platform to amplify the request, which he initially made in 2021.

While he had the eyes of the world on him though, El Rubius raised the stakes and clarified that all that needs to happen if for xQc to agree.

He did have one request though — neither participate can train before the fight.

This beef has been brewing for quite some time. Back in May of 2021 the two traded comments about the possibility of a fight after Rubius raised the possibility of showdown between the two, “I want to fight you. I [will] kick your a**. Stop copying me.”

It didn’t take long for Lengyel to respond to that proposition, but he largely kept things light.

In his official response to that first challenge, the former Overwatch pro joked about having the reach advantage and revealed that he would simply play the stamina game in any theoretical bout.

He demonstrated his capabilities by doing a brief crab crawl around his room before collapsing back into his chair.

The full-time streamer has yet to acknowledge the most recent challenge, but it surely won’t take long for him to reveal his decision.

If and when he does respond, we’ll be sure to provide an update with his response.
