eUnited announced signing of YouTuber and streamer LEGIQN
North American organization eUnited have announced that YouTuber and streamer LEGIQN will be joining as part of their content creation team.
LEGIQN has been a popular name in the gaming community for many years now, with over 650,000 subscribers on YouTube, and a popular Twitch channel too, where he streams a variety of games.
He is the first major entertainment focused signing for eUnited, who up until this point have been concerned solely with signing of professional and prospective competitive players across a number of esports titles.
eUnited manager and former professional CoD player Matthew ‘Burns’ Potthoff teased the announcement the day before, giving only a silhouette of the new signing – with many fans speculating it would be a new pro player.
But eUnited look to be investing more seriously into the content creation side of esports, which is becoming recognized as integral to growing and sustaining a fanbase.
LEGIQN is known for a sharp sense of humor, and the announcement was made with a suitably funny video.

Many other top esports organizations have increased their recruitment of YouTubers and streamers, following in the footsteps of North American teams OpTic Gaming and FaZe Clan.
Team Envy recently added YouTuber Preston (a.k.a TBNRFrags) to the organization as both a content creator and investor.
The popularity of Fortnite has also seen an increase in Fortnite streamers being signed to various organizations, but not necessarily to compete – rather simply to stream under the team’s banner.
As for fans hoping for an announcement regarding eUnited’s Call of Duty roster and a fifth member, Burns has confirmed that information will be released “when the time comes”.
