Dr Disrespect explains what it’s like to be a streamer

The Two-Time had just started his Monday stream when a fan in his chat posted about how content in the gaming industry right now is a “snooze fest,” which caught the attention of the streamer.

“It really is a god d*mn snooze fest, man! We’ve seen it so many times. I’ve seen the trends. We are riding a god d*mn wave, baby! Sometimes you just might be in-between sets. You might be out there and it might be a little flat!” he exclaimed.

The Twitch star then continued. “Do you wrap it up? Do you call it right there? Do you head to shore? Or do you wait it out?” he asked, explaining how streamers have to deal with downtime when there aren’t any good games out.

Doc then expanded on his surfing comparison and exclaimed, “Or do you risk being out there with the sharks? Waiting it out. Knowing that there is a bigger set coming in. A bigger wave to ride. That’s way I look at streaming!”

The popular personality then stated that there is currently nothing to watch on Twitch. “I’ve seen things dip. And I have a hard time going to Twitch right now. Let’s watch the content. That’s because there ain’t none!” he screamed.

The Two-Time stated that it was important the industry “keeps it together,” particularly streaming personalities who have to keep riding it out until the next trend or big game comes along.
