Deji, brother to YouTuber and white-collar boxer KSI, recently uploaded a video updating audiences on the whereabouts of his one-year-old German Shepherd dog ‘Tank.’

In the video, Deji states that the police have made multiple attempts to censor his initial video, detailing the altercation that resulted in Tank’s deposition.

He described an instance in which he was called by a lawyer who asked him to take the video down. He said:

“They’ve got some lawyer from out of nowhere, claiming to be my lawyer, trying to take down the video. You’re just a fake person! Go away!”

Additionally, Deji stated that the police were constantly calling him at all hours, even in the middle of the night, using a number without a Caller ID and leaving multiple voice messages.

He said that this has left him feeling harassed, and has threatened to expose the police for these practises. A petition regarding the incident has also been published, with over 249,000 signatures calling for Tank’s release as of September 12.

According to the petition, Tank was taken by the local PD when he bit a neighbor who had come to grab a package from their doorstep.

Deji has alleged that his neighbor hit Tank multiple times with the parcel, resulting in external injuries to the dog’s face. He also claimed that Tank bit the neighbor in response, who is said to have requested that the animal be euthanized. The police removed Tank from a kennel, where Deji had placed him in the interim, and asked the family to sign an Acceptable Dog Contract.
