Someone with access to the Cloud9 Twitch account decided to have a bit of fun during the late-night broadcasts League of Legends streamer Tyler1, leading to hilariously cringey chaos.

Cloud9 might be well known for their highly competitive teams, but they’re perhaps even more well known for heavily embracing the meme culture of esports.

Still, it was a bit strange to see the official Cloud9 Twitch account trolling random channels by repeating old memes and poking fun at the broadcasters.

One such attempt to troll Leaguer of Legends mainstay Tyler1 didn’t pan out too well, however.

“IS THAT THE REAL TYLER ONE,” Cloud9 stated in the chat. “HEY TYLER IT’S FINE BRO WE ARE HERE FOR YOU. HEY TYLER IT’S FINE BRO WE ARE HERE FOR YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHERE IS OUR REFORMED TYLER. DON’T LET THEM MAKE YOU ANGRY. CALMDOWNN. CALM DOWNNNNNNNNNN.”

According to the chat logs, the exchange was during an afternoon stream after T1 had just lost a frustrating match, leading to some heated responses from the infamous streamer.

“Cloud9, stop the spamming,” Tyler1 said. “Enjoy the ban, shut the fuck up. Very cringe. I don’t know who your account manager is, but you’re a retard. Stop typing.”

It looks as though Cloud9 took the swift ban in stride, instead taking the trolling to Twitter in an attempt to get their untimely ban overturned.

The coordinated effort to troll one of Twitch’s more vocal members amused and confused most people, but was still another notable entry in Cloud9’s trolling ways.

It’s unknown why one of the world’s largest esports brands decided to have a bit of fun, but they might not be done since they told Scarra in a separate exchange “see you at 1:17am tomorrow.”
