Addison Rae reveals first details on upcoming EP out “really really soon”

TikTok star Addison Rae seems to be doing all kinds of exciting ventures at the moment from UFC reporting gigs to new films to a potential new album. Now, Rae teased some exciting details about her new music.

Rae released her debut single “Obsessed” earlier in 2021 with her first single getting millions of views and listens on YouTube and Spotify respectively.

Rae says her new EP is out “really really soon” with four songs for the body of work already finished. She said that she was “really excited to share” the new music.

Speaking to Variety, She went into more detail too about her creative process. Rae said that recently, she’s “been songwriting a lot more, and learning more about production and the more intricate parts of music, instead of just performing.”

The TikTok star also went on to say that she’s “super confident” in her new work despite haters criticizing her previous releases. She also shared her excitement for the new EP saying, “I love my music so I can’t wait to share that with the world.”

Addison Rae also said that she had been working with many different people in the music industry. This had included the likes of Charli XCX, Leland, and Sarah Hudson who helped pen Dua Lipa’s hit single Physical.

She also said she was working with Benny Blanco – you know the producer and songwriter behind super hits like Ke$ha’s ‘Tik Tok’, Maroon 5’s ‘Payphone’, and Katy Perry’s ‘Teenage Dream’ and ‘I Kissed a Girl’

Speaking about working with the likes of the ‘Unlock It‘ singer, Rae said, “I’ve been getting in the studio with so many different creatives that I’ve always looked up to and have been inspired by, and even people that are up-and-coming producers and songwriters.”

Rae is also set to make her movie debut next month with a starring role in Netflix’s “He’s All That” on August 27.
