Addison Rae fans confused as she unfollows Dad on Instagram

TikTok star Addison Rae has left her fans wanting answers after it was revealed she had unfollowed her father on Instagram. 

On June 28, it was discovered that the influencer actress had cut social media ties with her dad, Monty Lopez, without any explanation.

At the time of writing, the 21-year-old has not commented publicly about the matter, leaving the door open for some of her followers to speculate.

The move was spotted first by TikTokroom on Instagram, who said: “After some tea resurfaced it looks like #Addisonrae unfollowed her dad and Sheri also talk “wife” out of her bio!”

This came as a shock to many, with one fan posting: “This is too personal.”

Another said: “This is tea no one should ever have to hear. This is just sad.”

Despite the barrage of questions on Instagram about the unfollowing, Rae has been relatively quiet on the social media platform of late.

She has uploaded stories but last posted a photo to Instagram on June 22. On Twitter, June 24 was her last tweet.

It was also noted that her Mom, Sheri Easterling, had removed “wife” from her bio, leading to some speculation about a possible divorce for her partner. Those rumors, at this time, are not confirmed.

Whether or not the family will comment about this matter, or handle things privately, remains to be seen.
