Dota 2 caster Capitalist’s hilarious reaction to insane TI9 play instantly goes viral

Dota 2 caster Austin ‘Capitalist’ Walsh had a hilarious reaction to an insane comeback in the Team Secret vs Mineski match at The International 2019.

The biggest event in Dota 2, TI9, is currently underway, and just like every year at The International events, it brings some of the best Dota matches ever.

Veteran caster Capitalist was lucky enough to be casting arguably the best match of the tournament so far, as Team Secret and Mineski played an incredibly close back and forth series, resulting in the caster’s hilarious reaction.

ValveTI9 is the biggest Dota 2 event of the year.

Team Secret were on the cusp of making a near-impossible comeback after being down over 18,000 gold, all they had to do was destroy the enemy ancient in a 5v3 situation and they would secure one of the best comebacks of all time.

Mineski weren’t done quite yet, however, and managed to make an insane defense, securing themselves the game and tying up the series 1-1.

This was then Austin went absolutely wild at the commentator’s desk, he could barely contain his excitement, as he lept out of his seat and began jumping around while commentating, shaking a water bottle and spilling water all over himself.

Capitalist’s excitement was highlighted by the host panel shortly after the game, who all found his reaction incredibly amusing, and immediately spread around the Dota 2 community.

TI9 is set to continue at 10:40 PM ET on August 22 with three lower bracket matches, and the American commentator will likely be back again.

If the games live up to expectations, fans may be treated to not only incredible Dota 2 but another hilarious Capitalist reaction.
