As you traverse the hallowed halls of the long-forgotten Library of Zoltun Kulle in Diablo Immortal, you’ll uncover a whole host of age-old secrets and some perplexing, Indiana Jones-style puzzles.

Before you take on the likes of the Sandstone Golem and Fleshcraft Hydra you’ll have to complete a quest that challenges you to light a series of nine different torches all at once. This is essential to progressing through the game’s story, so you’ll have to spend a bit of time on it.

How to light nine lamps at once in Diablo Immortal

As you inject new life into this decaying center of learning, you’ll need to collect a few different runes in order to return your partonizing, somewhat insufferable guide, the Curator, back to his former glory.

To get one of these, you’ll need to light a series of nine lamps at once to summon it. They’re positioned in a lattice shape, with one in the center and eight around it in a square.

In order to light all nine lamps at once in Diablo Immortal:

1. Light each of the four corner lamps (marked in red on the image below, with one obscured by the quest box)
2. Light the central lamp (marked in green on the image below)

You can also light the central lamp, and then work around the outside corners – the order doesn’t matter, you’ll achieve the same goal.

Additionally, if you head back to the statue and ask The Curator how to complete the puzzle, he’ll provide you a characteristically snarky response that informs you of how to light all of the lamps. While we’ve told you how, it’s worth checking in with him because, well, he’s a pretty fun character.
