Dr Disrespect gives Astralis’ CS:GO team hilarious lesson in trash talking

It’s not often a championship level CS:GO team needs a lesson in trash talking, but when they do, who better to visit than the one and only Dr Disrespect.

Astralis’ CS:GO team is almost universally considered to be the best in the world, and their recent victory at the 2019 IEM Katowice Major proved that even further.

Following their tournament victory, the Danish squad starred in parody promotional video released by Turtle Beach that also featured popular Twitch streamer Dr Disrespect.

At the start of the video, the team confesses that their trash talking is not up to par with their CS:GO skill, and they decide that the only way to build that up is to visit the Doc in his lair.

Once in the hidden bunker, the players go through a brutally tough session of training with the Doc, whose high level of instruction shows exactly why he’s considered one of the most relentless smack talkers on Twitch.

Of course, the great irony here is that the Astralis players are known for their positive and nice personalities, and the Two-Time faced a steep challenge to try and toughen them up.

However, by the end of the video, the Doc proudly stands and watches his students shout insults at each other, and the constant sound of their words being censored suggests that the teacher had successfully taught his lesson.

Of course, at the end of the day, Astralis lets their superb play do all of the talking, as they continue to dominate the international CS:GO esports scene tournament after tournament.

With their victory at the recent IEM Katowice Major, Astralis have now won eight out of their last nine tournaments, and to find the last time they placed out of the top five, you would have to go back to their sixth place finish at ESL Pro League Season 7 – Europe in April of 2018.
