North American Counter-Strike team Complexity Gaming are exploring potential options to replace Peter 'stanislaw' Jarguz on the active roster, according to multiple sources.

Dexerto has not been able to confirm who the organization has considered as a replacement for the Canadian, but their interest in 15-year-old prospect Owen 'oBo' Schlatter still remains.

Stanislaw has been a member of Complexity for just over a year as their in-game leader. During his time with the team, their best result was the top eight finish at the FACEIT Major: London. Since that result, they have not been able to replicate similar success against international competition.

Veteran rifler Jordan 'n0thing' Gilbert spent the first three months of the year with the team as a stand-in and was eventually replaced by Hunter 'SicK' Mims at the end of March.

Stanislaw joined Complexity from OpTic Gaming.

Prior to representing Complexity, stanislaw played for OpTic Gaming on two separate occasions with the first stint being the most successful on an international level.

The Canadian was the in-game leader for the OpTic lineup that won ELEAGUE Season 2, where they beat Astralis in the final. Prior to his short second stint with OpTic, where he led the North American-Danish mix squad, he played for Team Liquid for the majority of 2017.

Stanislaw led a number of different lineups during his two stints with OpTic.

The next event for Complexity is expected to be the ECS Season 7 Finals in London, which kicks off on Thursday, June 6 and runs through Sunday, June 9. The North American squad are scheduled to take on French upstarts Team Vitality in their opening match-up.

It is unclear at this time if Complexity would be allowed to make a change to their roster prior to playing or if they must use stanislaw at the event.

Complexity's line-up currently consists of:

  • Peter 'Stanislaw' Jarguz
  • Shahzeb 'ShahZaM' Khan
  •  Hunter 'SicK' Mims
  • Rory 'dephh' Jackson
  • Ricardo 'Rickeh' Mulholland
