This Hermione Granger cosplay looks like it’s been taken straight off the Harry Potter film set, with the robes and scenery looking as if they’re designed by Godric Gryffindor himself.

The Harry Potter series has inspired thousands of young adults in the early years of the 21st century, bringing reading, fantasy and cinema to a generation in a way which very few did before it, akin to a modern version of Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings saga.

One offset of this is fan’s relationships they have with the characters that they’ve grown to love, and it became a popular muse for cosplayers who found themselves enchanted by the Potter universe, with certain characters, such as Voldemort and Hermione, making for fan-favorite cosplay inspirations.

The cosplay looks like it was taken in Hogwarts castle – though we know no Muggle could ever find it.

Posting to Reddit, meganflockhart (presumably a play on the name Lockhart, a divisive character from the series) showed off her Hermione cosplay, and you could easily mistake it for a shot straight from the set if you don’t take the time to look at it properly.

The burgundy robes are fitted exactly as you see in the movies, almost perfectly color-matched with the sleeves and scarf looking as if they’ve been bestowed upon her by Emma Watson herself.

Her hair, which looks to be slightly curled throughout, looks very similar to Hermione’s in the latter years of her Hogwarts tenure, from which this cosplay appears to based off. Overall, the look itself has been styled to near-perfection, and even Watson herself might have to look twice to confirm it’s not her.

Holding a book in classic Hermione fashion, Flockhart is also posing alongside a stone wall that looks like it could be found on the grounds of Hogwarts Castle in one of its many courtyards, looking aged and weathered by the years of hexes that have bounced off it.

The Reddit post, as expected, went huge, with almost 10,000 upvotes at the time of writing and multiple gold awards to congratulate Megan on her efforts.

The comments themselves are almost exclusively fans in amazement at how perfectly she’s captured the Hermione character, with one even saying that they “thought someone was posting a picture of Emma Watson and calling it cosplay.” Another user joked about the resemblance, asking her “where she got that face,” because it fits the cosplay perfectly.

This is definitely one of the most accurate cosplays we’ve ever seen and shows just how accurate some of the best are committed to being, with how easily some people believed that the photo was of Emma Watson as Hermione rather than simply a fan.

You’ll be hard pushed to find a Hermione cosplay that looks better – not unless someone gets their hands on some Polyjuice Potion.

WWE wrestler Zelina Vega has done it again and pulled another stunning cosplay out of the bag, looking every bit the part of Kitana from Mortal Kombat in the latest of her fantastic cosplays.

Zelina Vega, real name Thea Trinidad, has more than dabbled in the cosplay scene before. In the past we’ve seen her recreate a fabulous poolside D.Va from Overwatch and a stunning Jinx from League of Legends.

She’s a hugely popular pro-wrestler working under WWE, but clearly has a dedication for gaming and the gaming community which she expresses via her detailed cosplays, and even streams a huge variety of games on Twitch.

This time around she decided to give Mortal Kombat a go, one of the most popular fighting games globally. The games have featured a series of playable characters, each with their own unique look and personality that has proven to be a ripe opportunity for cosplayers looking to recreate their favorites from the game.

Zelina Vega’s Kitana

Despite being over 10,000 years old, Kitana looks very young. In battle, she primarily utilizes her steel fans as a weapon, her lightning-fast technique and powerful abilities rendering her a formidable foe.

Zelina has fantastically recreated Kitana’s aesthetic in her cosplay. The whole image has a midnight blue cast, the soft moon in the background perfectly illuminating the finer details of her costume. The creative image was taken by Daniel Forero and edited by Ryan Sims.

The dark blue of her mask and headdress tie in exactly with her gloves, intricate light blue markings crawling down the side of her forearm.

In a matching blue, fabric drapes down from the shorts at her waist down to the floor in the center of her body, mimicking Kitana’s exactly. Long boots stretch up to her thighs and give Zelina the character’s powerful look.

Of course, it wouldn’t be Kitana without the metal fans that are equally as gorgeous as they are dangerous, Zelina holding them in a captivating pose and tying the look together completely.

There’s no doubt that Zelina did a fantastic job of recreating this popular Mortal Kombat character, and fans of her cosplay are keenly awaiting the next character she decides to embark on next.
