Twitch streamer stuns viewers with awesome Post Malone cosplay

Popular Twitch streamer ‘AyyTrae’ stunned her viewers on February 29, with a jaw-dropping interpretation of rapper and singer Post Malone.

Trae is a popular streamer based in Los Angeles, California who, at the time of writing, sits at just over 20,000 followers on the platform. She is best known among her audience for a mixture of Just Chatting, IRL and gaming streams.

However, on February 29, she decided to alter her IRL streaming format slightly – by doing it all while cosplaying as Post Malone. It is not the first time she has attempted a Post Malone cosplay, doing something similar around this same time in 2019.

Post Malone – real name Austin Post – is one of the world’s biggest musicians.

On paper, a Post Malone recreation is a daunting task, especially for a female cosplayer. The hip-hop star’s facial hair and tattoos have become a staple of his look, but that didn’t stop Trae from taking on the task.

As Trae streamed the whole cosplay, fans were treated to the process of getting into character. This included the difficult task of adding facial hair and facial tattoos. It was a skill that needed practice, as her first attempts at facial tattoos didn’t quite match up to Post Malone’s.

However, the Twitch star soon got to grips with it, and even checked with her audience that her denim jacket was accurate enough to pull off the cosplay.

It was so good that some of her audience joked that members of the public would confuse her with the real Post Malone.

Trae then took her cosplay for a spin in public, wandering the streets of Los Angeles and stunning passers-by.

She even teased one impressed member of the public by asking whether she was “still cute”, despite the facial hair and cosplaying. “Nah, I wouldn’t say that!” replied the man.

It’s fair to say that, in a world dominated by high standards, Trae has just raised the bar even further.

This was emphasized by the responses she got from both her audience and the public, with everyone absolutely staggered at the accuracy and dedication shown in the cosplay.
