Fans fell hard for the Honeydew Mei skin that came with Overwatch‘s Anniversary 2019 event, and one talented cosplayer created an incredibly refreshing outfit to show her love.

Honeydew Mei was by far the best-received skin to arrive in the game’s latest event, but sadly, it’s now unavailable until next year. Though who knows – we might see another skin for her in the Summer Games.

Despite the skin not being available again for a while, talented Overwatch fan Sado ‘hoihoisado’ has taken her love of the melon-themed outfit to the next level.

Blizzard EntertainmentThe skin is sadly unavailable until next year’s Anniversary event.

“Freeze! Don’t move!”

The cosplay features Honeydew Mei’s signature green melon tea overalls, complete with the little melon motif on the apron, and the red ribbon on the hat.

hoihoisado’s outfit is almost perfect compared to the actual skin in-game, and it’s simply crazy just how much detail she put into making it look accurate – even down to the orange polka dots on her socks.

The best part about the cosplay photoset is that hoihoisado decided to shoot it in what is presumably a bubble tea store, truly bringing the essence of Honeydew Mei to life.

It is simply unbelievable just how realistic her cosplay rendition is, and how much effort she put in to making it feel so authentic to the skin in the game.

She’s not the only a-Mei-zing cosplayer

Another Honeydew Mei fan decided to put her own spin on the skin with an incredible cosplay, which she showed off during E3 2019.

Cosplayer ‘Persia XO’ is a video host for popular video game website GameSpot, and decided to sport her outfit during the company’s E3 presence.

Cosplayers are some of the most creative human beings on the planet, and breathe life into all sorts of different characters in amazing ways. It is simply crazy how talented some of these people are.
