A skilled My Hero Academia fan blew minds when she shared her cosplay rendition of Camie Utsushimi that brings the lovable female hero to life.

Camie is a second-year student of Shiketsu High School – the rival school to U.A High, where the main protagonist Izuku Midoriya and his friends attend. She was first introduced in season three of the popular anime, and soon became a fan favorite character.

In the show, the heroine’s quirk (superpower) allows her to produce smoke from her mouth in order to form visual and auditory illusions to confuse foes – and even friends in some cases.

Camie Utsushimi comes to life

Talented cosplay artist ‘Newcomb Cosplay’ decided to share her take on the second-year student, and perfected the look down to every little detail.

Not only is her skin tight suit accurate, the fan also replicated the outfit’s contrasting white arm cuffs and knee-high boots to a tee.

Shiketsu High School attendees are required to wear a navy blue and orange cap with the school’s logo embossed on the front in order to represent their institution, and the illusion hero is no different – something the artist nailed.

The Pro Hero trainee’s outfit wouldn’t be complete without her signature chunky neck choker, and Newcomb pulls this off perfectly with an almost one-for-one replica.

Many of the series’ characters have unnatural colored and wacky locks (like Midoriya’s green curls or Mina’s pink barnet), but Camie sports straight, fawn colored hair – another thing that the cosplayer incorporates beautifully into her costume.

It’s not always easy to mimic the styles of on-screen characters in real life, but the artist truly does bring the female hero to life with her jaw-dropping take – we dig it.

My Hero Academia is currently in the middle of airing its fourth season, and a new episode can be viewed each week on either Crunchyroll or Funimation.

Despite Newcomb Cosplay only having 575 Instagram followers as of the time of this article, she’s proven she’s got some crazy skills, and has created designs for other anime such as Durarara!! and JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure,
