North California-based model behemoth_cosplay showed off her impressive take as Avatar: The Last Airbender’s Katara with a neat action shot with some waterbending action.

Taking to Instagram, the cosplayer, whose first name is Megan, uploaded a photo of herself dressed as Katara. What makes the photo special, aside from the great outfit, is the neat water effect.

In the photo, taken by fellow cosplayer, awesomejaymee, Behemoth is seen controlling water with her right hand while some swirls in her left. It’s a nice touch that adds some flair to an already solid cosplay with all the right looks.

With her hair, Megan purchased a wig from Arda Wigs called “Danny in cool brown.” It does a nice job at matching Katara’s hair, which changes styles several times during the series.

For her eyes, she decided to use mystery blue contacts from TTDeye to imitate the waterbending master.

The rest of the costume was made by the cosplayer herself, and it too looks ripped directly from the American animated series.

Behemoth even went out of her way to craft a necklace identical to Katara’s grandmother’s, which the character wears.

Finally, the cosplayer’s blue robe syncs up with the one Katara wears quite nicely. And, may we add, looks quite comfortable too. Overall, the whole get up really captures the essence of the waterbender and is a fine example of a well-crafted cosplay.

This isn’t the only outfit that Behemoth has come up with either. She’s also dressed up as Jasmine from Disney’s Aladdin, Freddy Kreuger from Nightmare on Elm Street, Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII and Dragon Ball Z’s Goku.

Now that is one heck of a diverse lineup of cosplays spanning many genres and franchises.

It would seem like the model can do anything she sets her mind to and we can’t wait to see what she has up her sleeve for future cosplays.
