Twitter user has account suspended for leaking Black Ops 4 patch information
A Twitter user who managed to acquire an early copy of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 has had their account shut down after releasing details regarding a new patch.

The Twitter account, named ‘Ateam_ShAdoWw’, recently stated that a patch had gone live for Black Ops 4, for those who had managed to get their hands on an early copy of the game.
Unfortunately, it looks like Activision and Treyarch were unhappy with the Twitter user’s post, as his account has now been suspended.

Ateam_ShAdoWw posted a picture of his console downloading a new patch that had gone live for PlayStation 4, titled Update 1.02, and with a file size of around 12GB.
The user then posted a screenshot of Black Ops 4’s in-game message to players. It stated that the servers would remain down for multiplayer while Treyarch prepare for the game’s launch, but that the servers would be going live soon.

It’s currently unclear as to why exactly the Twitter user got banned. However, it’s likely that his account was suspended for releasing the information that a Day One patch was incoming for Black Ops 4. It’s also possible that he was suspended for showing the in-game message of the day before the game’s official release date.
Information regarding the games launch has already been released, with Treyarch revealing that the preload for the game will begin at 12am on October 10 in your local timezone.
Black Ops 4 will release on Friday, October 12 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and on PC via the Battle.net platform.
