Twitch, and it’s hard to debate that when he finds himself in situations such as this one, with a hilarious claymore fail on Modern Warfare.

TimTheTatman, real name Timothy Betar, has been creating gaming content for over six years now, getting his start in the Call of Duty franchise making videos on the highly-revered Black Ops 2 in 2012.

Since then, he’s become one of Twitch’s biggest names, growing with the release of Overwatch and, more recently, becoming huge with his Fortnite Battle Royale gameplay. But, that doesn’t necessarily mean he always makes the best plays.

Twitch/TimTheTatmanTim has become known not only for being a good player, but an incredibly entertaining personality.

This was evidenced during a livestream early on November 5, in which he was playing Team Deathmatch on Modern Warfare and had to make a play when he ran out of ammo.

“I’ve run out of ammo, what do we do?” he said. “We bait them with a claymore.” He placed his claymore and waited patiently around a corner, watching to see if his opponent would step out, before slowly approaching and taking a cover behind a car.

This proved to be a terrible decision.

As he sat cautiously behind the vehicle, the enemy finally stepped out and was taken out by the claymore – along with Tim, who met his fate at the hands of the car he had taken refuge behind, which exploded because it was in the claymore’s vicinity.

Tim couldn’t believe what had happened and was visibly speechless for a while, eventually addressing his viewers and saying, “There’s no way that my claymore blew up over there and blew that car up. There’s no way.”

Claymores have been a huge issue for players so far in Modern Warfare, with streamers like Dr. Disrespect going on a huge rant about them, calling for the issue to be addressed.

It’s likely that we’ll see claymores nerfed sometime soon given the community reaction, hopefully bringing some more balance to the newly-released title.
