Sledgehammer Announce Multiple Double XP Opportunities and Two Permanent Game Modes in Call of Duty: WWII
Sledgehammer have announced a collection of Double XP opportunities in Call of Duty: WWII, plus the addition of two permanent game modes.
First released in November of 2017, WWII generated a massive amount of hype around the gaming community for its storied return to ‘boots on the ground’ combat.

The developer reported over $1 billion in sales in just mere months since launch, with the game shooting to the top of the charts for the entire year even after a Q4 release.
New content is periodically added to the game over time by Sledgehammer in order to keep the game ‘fresh,’ and keep their player-base guessing as to what will come next.

Although in-game items such as weapons, outfits, and other additions are constantly introduced, the studio will also implement various ‘Midweek Mobilize’ and ‘Weekend Warfare’ playlists to highlight different game modes.

On Wednesday, May 16th, players will have a total of four different opportunities to earn Double XP, with three coming via multiplayer, and one from Nazi Zombies.

- 2XP on One Shot (One Shot is a sniper playlist that will be playable for TDM and Dom modes) – Live from 10AM PDT on Wednesday, May 16 until 10AM PDT on Thursday, May 17
- 2XP Ground War (Standard and HC) – 2XP live from 10AM PDT on Wednesday, May 16 until 10AM PDT on Monday, May 21, but Ground War is here to stay!
