Scooter Braun explains why Nadeshot is an inspiration
100 ThievesAhead of Call of Duty pro, Matthew ‘Nadeshot’ Haag, is an inspiration for so many in the gaming industry.
Since Nadeshot announced his retirement from professional Call of Duty, he has gone on to build a immensely popular esports organization, 100 Thieves, which has even secured investments from celebrities such as Drake.
One of the co-owners at 100 Thieves, music industry mogul Scooter Braun, explained the reason why he thinks the former CoD pro is such an inspiration to many of his fans, while the pair were traveling to TechCrunch Disrupt SF in Nadeshot’s latest vlog.
After the pair had touched down in San Francisco, Scooter decided to sing Nadeshot’s praises, highlighting some of the efforts he has put in to get where he is today with 100 Thieves.
“Put the camera on me! This man is an inspiration, alright? He was a professional gamer while he worked at McDonald’s for four years and he believed in gaming,” He explained, sharing why he thought Nadeshot was an inspiration.
“Now seven years later, he just got off a private jet as an owner of an esports organization going to speak to a crowd to tell people that his dream of gaming is a reality.”

Despite being clearly grateful all of his co-owner’s praise, Nadeshot replied in classic fashion by simply smiling and brushing off Scooter’s compliments, saying, “It’s no big deal.”
The pair then continued to showcase some of the behind-the-scenes action at TechCrunch Disrupt 2019, before making their appearance on stage to discuss all things esports and 100 Thieves.
The 100T founder was even asked about the departure of Nick ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff from his organization during the panel, which saw Scooter Braun defend Nadeshot over the criticism he has received for what had happened with the popular Twitch streamer.
After Nadeshot announced that his organization would not be competing in the Call of Duty League, the former CoD star has continued to next move for 100 Thieves.
