Only 4 teams remain at the 2020 CDL Playoffs, as we head into the Championship Weekend: Atlanta FaZe, Dallas Empire, Chicago Huntsmen, and London Royal Ravens.

With $1.5 million up for grabs as the first place prize, here’s a look at the key match-ups.

Winners Final: Atlanta FaZe vs Dallas Empire

Probably the best 2 teams over the whole season, this match is for a spot in the Grand Finals. The winner will also get a 1-0 lead in the final too.

Losing the match will send the team down to the losers bracket, where there’s no second chances.

Losers Round 5: Chicago Huntsmen vs London Royal Ravens

An elimination match, this game is the difference between going home with $450K instead of a minimum of $600K. There’s no clear favorite here, as both teams are coming in hot.

The winner of this match will play the loser of Atlanta vs Dallas, for the second grand final spot, and a shot at the $1.5m top prize.

Matches start on Saturday, August 29, at 11AM PDT, as Chicago take on London.

The most popular Warzone loadouts in September have been revealed, proving which weapons dominated the meta towards the end of Season 5.

The most popular weapons in Warzone have slowly changed over time, as Modern Warfare players have shifted away from the multiplayer weapons they’re most comfortable with such as the M4A1 assault rifle and figured out how to maximize their chances of winning in Verdansk.

Now, six months after release, players are discovering the very best strategies while also figuring out whether the regularly-added DLC weapons are viable in the game.

As a result, we see certain loadouts dominating in Warzone: but there’s also a decent amount of variation as players stick to what they’re most comfortable with.

Warzone players have been fine-tuning their best loadouts to take in the battle royale.

Statistics website Lootshare compiles the most-used weapons in Warzone and regular multiplayer, and has now revealed which loadouts were most popular throughout September, right through to the launch of Season 6 on September 29.

Here’s the top five weapon classes in Warzone, but see the graphic below to find the top eight:

  1. Kilo 141
  • Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
  • Barrel: Singuard Arms 19.8” Prowler
  • Optic: VLK 3.0x Optic
  • Underbarrel: Commando Foregrip
  • Ammunition: 60 Round Mags
  1. MP5
  • Barrel: Monolithic Integral Suppressor
  • Stock: FTAC Collapsible
  • Underbarrel: Merc Foregrip
  • Ammunition: 45 Round Mags
  • Rear Grip: Stippled Grip Tape

Elsewhere, the MP5 crops up twice in the top eight, with slight variations, while snipers are opting for the HDR or Kar98 to get them through Verdansk. Obviously, as became prominent throughout September, the Origin 12 shotgun was also the sixth-most popular weapon in the game.

It will be interesting to see how this list changes in October, with new weapons added and some balancing applied to existing guns. We might see some shifts in the meta as a result.
