OpTic Gaming did not miss a beat when needing to 'break' a Search and Destroy setup held by UNILAD Esports during the CWL Pro League.
When it comes to Search and Destroy in 'boots on the ground' Call of Duty titles, teamwork is essential in order to have a dominating presence on the map against an opposing squad.
This has been put on display time after time throughout the duration of the CoD: WWII season after players have been competing on 'jetpack' titles for the past three years, along with the 'meta' of the game developing over time.
One of the most coveted SnD plays is that of the full-team re-take, where one squad attempts to take control of a bombsite after their opponents have planted the bomb and taken cover.
In CoD: WWII, this has proven to be incredibly difficult for some teams on Sainte Maire Du Mont SnD when the bomb is planted at the 'B' site, which is closed-off from the remainder of the map.
However, after UNILAD got the perfect setup against OpTic Gaming, the Green Wall showed why they have been so dominant in Division B across Stage Two of the CWL Pro League by getting a perfect retake, much to the enjoyment of the commentators.
OpTic Gaming would go on to win the match against UNILAD 3-1, although, both teams managed to qualify for the $500,000 Stage Two Playoffs in late July.
