In the newly-released GameInformer Digital Magazine for October of 2018, the team managed to get hands-on experience with Blackout Battle Royale while visiting the Treyarch offices.
According to GameInformer, players will enter the Blackout map by helicopter with a random path and will need to ‘drop in’ to battle, much like various other Battle Royale titles.

After jumping out of the helicopter, wingsuits will be used to navigate through the air and pick a point on the map to land.
However, players will keep their wingsuits for the entire match, and they can be deployed while base jumping from certain locations around the map.

Players will be able to test out this aspect of Blackout when the Private Beta launches on September 10 for PlayStation 4, and September 7 for the Xbox One and PC.
