100 Thieves founder Matt ‘Nadeshot’ Haag has come out with some strong claims against certain fans of competitive Call of Duty.

According to the young CEO, there are a lot of fans out there who want to see 100 Thieves’ CoD team fail simply because they’re not OpTic Gaming.

In his livestream, Nadeshot expressed his surprise and frustration to being met with so many troll and negative comments after typing in the CoD World League‘s Twitch chat.

“It is unbelievable how much people want to troll or see 100 Thieves, because of the lineup that we have in Call of Duty, they want to see us fail, or they want to see us do poorly,” he said.

“It is wild the mentality this community has,” he went on. “If you’re not on OpTic, people don’t care about your team, or they want to see you be less successful. It’s really unbelievable.”

Of course 100 Thieves’ pro CoD team has been the topic of much discussion over the past few weeks, especially when they decided to bench Maurice ‘Fero’ Henriquez in favor of the newly acquired Preston ‘Priestahh’ Greiner.

Both Nadeshot and his org received a lot of negative feedback and backlash for the move, especially since it was insinuated that the switch was made to favor star man Kenny ‘Kenny’ Williams.

Not for the first time, Nadeshot had some things to say in response to those critics, claiming that it was far from an easy decision.

Speaking of 100 Thieves and OpTic, both have qualified for the CWL Pro League, albeit in opposite Divisions, and will meet twice over the course of the league’s regular season.

Both meetings will be must-watch games as the two powerhouse teams have yet to face off at a LAN event.
