While playing the Blackout Beta with Ninja, Scump and TeePee, Nadeshot revealed 5v5 is likely to happen after talking with other teams around the CWL.

TeePee was wondering about his chances of returning to the competitive scene after two years of retirement and Nadeshot responded positively, saying “I know the rosters, I know the players. 5v5, you should be playing.”

TeePee is a former professional who retired during the Black Ops 3 Season. He won the 2014 World Championship and was a member of the compLexity dynasty with ACHES, Karma and Crimsix.

While still unconfirmed, the rumor of Competitive Call of Duty switching to 5 players per team is shaping up to be a poorly kept secret.

The infamous “CoD Burner” claims that some team owners already know 5v5 is happening, including OpTic’s Hecz.

The first Black Ops 4 tournament of the year, the Playstation Masters in Germany, will be 5v5. The event is not an official CWL tournament, though it tends to follow CWL rules.
