Shipment and Shoot House 24/7 are coming to Modern Warfare.

Infinity Ward have confirmed that two fan-favorite playlists will be running side-by-side in Modern Warfare before the launch of Season Two, as well as more XP events.

With Season Two just around the corner, Infinity Ward are looking to see out their first season with a bang. After issuing fans with an extension on Season One, Infinity Ward added Deathmatch Domination and Gunfight Custom to their playlist.

Now, the Modern Warfare developers are turning up the heat and listening to community feedback by bringing back Shoot House 24/7, while keeping the dedicated Shipment playlist.

In their January 31 community update, Infinity Ward stated that a few changes would be coming in their February 4 update.

“We’re planning a few things for next week,” the developers wrote. “Maybe a playlist for Shipment 24/7 AND a playlist for Shoot House 24/7? Hm…”

This would be the first time that both Shipment and Shoot House playlists have appeared in the game simultaneously — meaning that fans are being treated to an action-packed week of close-quarters combat.

Alongside both playlists running side-by-side, fans will be able to grind the beloved ‘Gunfight’ playlist, as tournaments were also teased to return.

For those needed to put the finishing touches to their Season One Battle Pass, players will be able to enjoy a plethora of XP events — from 2X XP and weapon XP to 2X tier progression. There’s no exact date for these yet though, with IW saying: “keep an eye out for when these go live next week!”

Combat record reset and Spec Ops DLC download bug

As well as the new content, IW have also responded to a couple of technical issues. For players whose combat record was reset after the latest update, they’ve said that anyone who “had their combat record stats reset should now see their combat record displaying properly.”

Also, for players on PS4 who are getting an infinite download loop for Spec Ops DLC, they have provided a step-by-step solution here.

Since Shipment’s spawns were reportedly tuned during the previous update and Shoot House is undoubtedly the most popular map on Modern Warfare, Infinity Ward are providing fans with plenty of reasons to continue their grind ahead of Season Two.

While we look ahead to Season Two and everything that is in-store, here’s everything we know about Modern Warfare’s second season (including release date, maps and content).
