Infinity Ward will give Modern Warfare a free access playlists this weekend and here’s everything you need to know to jump into the action.

While the entire multiplayer component for Modern Warfare won’t be truly free access, IW is offering the next best thing with a “Stocked Up, Locked Down” playlist for free-to-play Warzone fans to try out.

Starting on April 3 at 10 AM PST / 1 PM EST until April 6, players can go into the Warzone Lobby and navigate to the Stocked up, Locked Down 24/7 playlist that features two maps and several modes from multiplayer.

To step into the free-to-play playlist over the weekend, download Warzone from the PlayStation Store or Xbox Live for consoles, or get the Battle.net client on PC.

Once downloaded, go into the main lobby after April 3 at 10 AM PST and you should have a new option that gives you access to the special multiplayer event.

Though people won’t have control over which maps or modes they load into, anyone will be able to repeatedly queue up in the Stocked up, Locked Down playlist over the entirety of the weekend and into Monday morning.

Atlas Superstore is going to be packed with action over the free playlist weekend in Modern Warfare.

Stocked up, Locked Down 24/7 features two maps from the regular multiplayer – Atlas Superstore and Shoot House. The former should already be very familiar to Warzone players since it’s one of the premier hot-drops in the battle royale.

Shoot House, added in Season 1, quickly became a fan-favorite and has stayed that way ever since. Its small size keeps players in action at almost every moment, unlike some of the larger maps that can get a bit boring at times.

As for the modes, the playlist includes five of the most popular ones from multiplayer: Team Deathmatch, Kill Confirmed, Domination, Hardpoint, and Headquarters.

Shoot House will be available for the free access weekend in Modern Warfare.

Even if a Warzone player isn’t interested in multiplayer, trying out the free weekend could be a great way to practice the various Call of Duty components that transferred over to the BR, including killstreaks, Field Upgrades, and perks.

Furthermore, you’ll also be able to level up any weapon you choose and start equipping better attachments and camos for the guns you get in Loadout Drops. This lasts for only three days though, so make sure you take advantage of this opportunity!
