How to get free CoD Warzone Combat Pack cosmetics bundle on PS4

In celebration of the release of Call of Duty’s new battle royale called ‘Warzone,’ PS4 players who have an active PlayStation Plus membership are getting a special Combat Pack cosmetics bundle.

After months of anticipation fueled by rumors, leaks, and speculation, Call of Duty’s new Warzone battle royale was finally launched on March 10.

The great thing about the mode’s release is that, while it’s technically part of Modern Warfare, Warzone is more or less a standalone game that’s free to play – meaning that if you don’t own MW, you can enjoy the BR experience without having to buy the full title.

The mode was released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, and because it’s free-to-play, those on PS4 don’t need an active PS Plus subscription to play online.

However, players who do have the membership can get a free Combat Pack cosmetics bundle as a “thank you” gift of sorts, most likely due to the ongoing partnership between Activision and Sony.

There are a total of six items included in this Combat Pack for PS Plus users: “Grab an Operator Skin, Weapon Blueprint, and other in-game accessories to show off your style in Warzone.”

• 1 Weapon Blueprint
• 1 Double XP Token
• 1 Calling Card
• 1 Weapon Charm
• 1 In-Game Watch

The Operator Skin is for Yegor, one of the usable characters in the Allegiance. It’s an outfit with dark blue and black tones, pretty similar to the default option in Modern Warfare.

The Weapon Blueprint is for the Model 60 shotgun, full black camo with blue tape around on the grip. The Watch looks pretty classy: gold and blue color scheme with a simple-yet-elegant face showing the time.

How to get Warzone Combat Pack for free

First and foremost, you’ll obviously need to be using a PS4 and have an active PlayStation Plus membership in order to collect these items.

If you meet these criteria, simply visit the Call of Duty: Warzone – Combat Pack page on the PlayStation Store website and click ‘Add to Cart,’ which will prompt you to sign in with your PS credentials. It’s smooth sailing from there; the bundle will be downloaded onto your console and you’ll be able to access them the next time you load up Warzone.

If you don’t have a PS Plus membership and have never signed up before on your account, you can get a 14-day free trial online, which will allow you to claim the Combat Pack.
