The Ray Gun is Really good in BO4’s Blackout: Gameplay Footage
The Ray Gun from Zombies mode is one of the most iconic weapons in Black Ops history.
Treyarch added the famous weapon to Black Ops 4’s Blackout mode as a reward for players who visit Zombie areas on the map.

Zombies can be found roaming the areas made up of Zombie maps, such as the Diner or Boxing Ring.
Killing a zombie is the only known way to get a Ray Gun to drop, though it can be scavenged from eliminated players if they were holding one.

The famous weapon is more than just a nostalgic trip for zombie fans, it looks like a powerhouse against players in Blackout.
YouTuber GregFPS was one of the first to find the Ray Gun and posted gameplay to his channel.

The gun appears to do 145 damage per shot, with players having 150 health.
It is slower firing than most weapons in Blackout but is powerful enough to require only two shots for an elimination.
The Ray Gun is known for its Zombies stopping power and countless players have hoped for one when opening the Mystery Box in Black Ops 1, 2, 3 and even World at War. The wonder weapon has appeared on every single Zombies map in Treyarch’s history.
