Several Spanish players have reported that their flight to Columbus, OH for the CWL Last Chance Qualifier has received a last minute cancellation.

With just one day before the event is scheduled to take place, the players for Team Heretics and the coach of Vodafone Giants find themselves at risk of missing out.

The news first broke out when Heretics player ‘Methodz’ tweeted out from the JFK Airport in New York that their connecting flight to Columbus had been cancelled.

Flight from NYC to Columbus cancelled, and the funny thing is that I put one for the next day from another airport called “La Guardia” I’m busting my balls.

In a previous tweet that has since been deleted, Methodz mentions that the people affected by this cancellation are his teammates ‘Lucky, Jurnii, and Suky’ and Vodafone Giants coach ‘Kennon.’

As the above tweet mentions, the next available flight takes off from the La Guardia Airport on the very same day of the LCQ, putting the players and the coach at risk of missing out on the event.

Having qualified for the event on the virtue of winning the Spanish CWL National Circuit Stage 4, Heretics are scheduled to face NA team Vertacon in the first round.
