First look at the brand new Kap-45 pistol in Black Ops 4 – attachments, how to unlock, gameplay clips, and more
Call of DutyA brand new pistol called Kap-45 has been added to Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 as part of the new Barbarian Special Event Stream that went live on January 22.
The Kap-45 is a fully automatic pistol that has a fast fire rate and high damage output, according to its in-game description.
It appears to be the apparent success of the Kap-40, also an automatic pistol that first featured in the Black Ops 2 Multiplayer.

The weapon has eight attachments currently available for it, including Rapid Fire I and II, Fast Mags, FMJ, Grip, Hybrid Mags, High Caliber, and Stock, and does not have an Operator Mod.
While new weapons in Black Ops 4 have so far been available in both Multiplayer and Blackout, it appears that the Kap-45 is only available in the MP at this current time.
While the Kap-45 is technically a secondary weapon, most players will likely just load it up with attachments and try to run it as a primary.
According the an early gameplay video of it published by YouTuber ‘GreenGoblinHD,’ this is more than a sound idea as the Kap-45 seems certainly strong enough to be serve as a player’s only weapon in a certain class.
As for how to unlock it, the Kap-45 is available to those who can reach the 25th and final tier of the Barbarian Special Event content stream.
The new content stream went live on January 22 and can be viewed in the Contraband section of the Black Market menu. Players can reach the tier 25 by either grinding the game or by purchasing any tiers that remain locked.
This stream is currently only available on the PlayStation 4, as per Sony’s exclusivity deal with Activision, and will go live on the Xbox One and PC on January 29. The final day when players can unlock any content in the stream, including the Kap-45, will be February 18.
