The tournament is set to take place on Thursday, October 18, less than a week after Blackout’s full release alongside Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 on Friday, October 12.

The Doc has already hosted a Code Red tournament on PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, but has set his sights on Call of Duty’s battle royale mode for his next competition.

Dr. DisRespect announced the tournament on his Twitter account, simply stating that the event would be “Bigger, better, and more dominant.”

It’s comes as no surprise that the Two-time Blockbuster Champion plans to host a Blackout tournament, given how much he enjoyed the beta. During the week-long beta, Dr. DisRespect sent a message to Treyarch’s Studio Design Director David Vonderhaar during one of his broadcasts, simply saying; “I love this game”.

While waiting for the Blackout release, The Doc has returned to playing PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, but has become increasingly frustrated at the state of the game. Dr. DisRespect’s annoyance with PUBG came to a head during a game where he told his audience; “Oh God, I hate this game. I don’t want to play it anymore. I don’t want to play it. Get me off of it.”

While Doc’s Code Red tournament is scheduled for the October 18, there has yet to be any announcements regarding prize pool, format or who will be competing.
