The entire Call of Duty community can immediately descend onto the game’s latest playlists with the patch landing on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

But it seems like everyone will have to wait a little while longer to get into the Barbones Deathmatch Moshpit, as Treyarch confirmed it will releasing soon but not with the May 14 patch.

TreyarchWith the latest patch, Treyarch is giving players tons of new ways to play Black Ops 4.

New and improved Ambush coming to Blackout

While Call of Duty players are sure to be excited about Ambush coming back to Blackout, they should be aware that it won’t be the same mode they’ve seen before.

Players won’t have access to equipment like the Cluster or Concussion Grenades anymore, while SDM has also been removed. Similarly, the ATV and ARAV won’t be available in Ambush so no quick getaways.

This time around Ambush is going to feature Snipers, Shotguns and Bowie Knives only, giving players the change to compete at both extremes on the spectrum: up close or far away.

Barebones Deathmatch Moshpit release date

It’s no secret that Barebones would be a hit in Black Ops 4. Since controversial Specialists Weapons and the like have been roaming around the game, players have been loving the straightforward chaos that Barebones provides.

With that in mind, Kill Confirm and Team Deathmatch will be joining the ranks of previous modes that have been given the Barebones treatment.

The new Barebones variants will be landing on the Black Ops 4 servers on Friday, May 17 at 10 am PST for players to enjoy.

TreyarchBlackout players are going to experience a different take to Ambush when it releases soon.

Hot Pursuit is coming back to Blackout

Even though Operation Grand Heist has come and gone, Treyarch has heard its players’ call to have Hot Pursuit rejoin the Blackout playlists.

The company has yet to outline when they’re going to be releasing the mode once again but didn’t go into specifics saying the mode will “make its way back into rotation later this month.”

This is incredible news for players who’ve been missing the dynamic action unique to the mode, and will have another chance to get into the game mode.

TreyarchPlayers itching to get back on the chase will be glad to hear Hot Pursuit will be coming back to Blackout “later this month.”

This weeks going to be giving players tons of ways to frag out in Black Ops 4 while mixing with tried and true formulas to shake things up a bit. While a lot of the update’s contents are dropping immediately, some will take a bit longer to land on the servers.
