xQc started downloading the game just after the reveal trailer at 12 PM PST, and decided to watch some gameplay with viewers while waiting.

While watching a YouTube video of Apex gameplay, xQc decided to take the opportunity to pose for a thumbnail to make it easier on the people who make his YouTube videos.

Eventually the streamer loaded up the game to check out the new title’s offerings, but was immediately disappointed in what he got out of the $40 Founder’s Edition.

“Founder’s skin, ooh, that’s terrible,” xQc remarked. “Founder’s skin, that’s horrid.”

“Is this real?” The streamer asked as he looked for more. “Well there goes my $40. Holy shit, GabeN would be proud.”

After finally making it into a game, xQc seemed to have a pretty good time, even if he wasn’t getting one win after another.

Only xQc knows how long he’ll be playing Apex for, but he said he was pretty excited to be around for the launch of the game.

Apex Legends is free to play and was released on February 4 for Playstation 4, Xbox One and on PC in the Origin store.
