Who will be the new Legend for Apex Legends Season 4?

Calum Patterson

With so many leaked characters discovered for Apex Legends, and only one added each season (so far), we take a look at the legends most likely to be arriving in Season 4.

Octane was the first ‘DLC’ character to be added, back in Season 1, followed by Wattson and Crypto in seasons 2 and 3 respectively.

So far, Respawn Entertainment have restricted themselves to adding only one new character per season, and they’ll likely keep this up, although there is some speculation that two or more legends could be added for the fourth season.

It’s worth noting that all of these legends are still technically in development, and the details we have on them come from data miners digging through the game files. All of this is subject to change, as things often do in game development.

15 unreleased legends have been leaked, but who will be added next?

Possible Season 4 legend: Rosie (Loba)

Since as early as Season 2, Rosie, also known as Loba, has been the favorite to be the Season 4 legend. Her character appeared to be the most complete in the game files, almost as complete as Crypto, who of course was added in Season 3.

It’s also possible that a developer teased Rosie, thanks to a Twitter post showing a motion capture actor believed to be working on Rosie’s character. The cane is the biggest hint.

Rosie remains very likely to be added in Season 4, and it would also make sense to have another female character added, as we’ve had two males already. However, there are some other names also possible.

Possible Season 4 Legend: Forge

Forge is a late entry to the list of leaked legends, only added to the game files in the v3.1 update in early November. However, he has immediately become a front-runner for Apex Legends Season 4.

This is because, in the game files, he is labeled as ‘season4chars’ in the code – the plural also indicating there could be more than one.

An image was also included in the leaked game files, first revealed by data miner Shrugtal, believed to be Forge.

Rosie is still arguably more ‘complete’ in development than Forge, but the code is a big clue that he could be one of two or more new legends added for the next season.

Possible Season 4 legend: Revenant

Next, we have a character who has already appeared in Apex Legends: Revenant. The menacing voice who commanded the Shadowfall LTM in the Season 3 Fight or Fright event was none other than Revenant himself.

He was recently updated in the game files too, with a nickname change to ‘Synthetic Nightmare’, and he initially had two forms or ‘stances’, regular and shadow, but the latter was removed.

Respawn Entertainment

Given that Revenant has already appeared prominently in the game, it’s not an unreasonable assumption that he could be the next legend added as a playable character in Season 4.

Other characters coming to Apex Legends?

That’s our big three, but there are plenty of other names who could make an appearance. Firstly, we have Nomad, who was leaked at around the same time as Rosie and is also believed to be very far along in development. However, things seem to have gone quiet on this character since.

There’s also Conduit, who was added to the game files at the same time as Forge. It’s unclear how far along in development this legend is though.

We have a full list of all leaked legends and their abilities, and for all we know it could be any one of these characters added for the new season. We simply have to wait to find out for sure.
