Fans of Apex Legends are starving for new information about Season 1 and while Respawn Entertainment hasn’t said when the season is coming, we do know it’s coming in March.

Numerous leaks and datamines have revealed tidbits of information but fans are still waiting for the floodgates to officially be opened.

There was a lot of assumption by players in the community that Season 1 would be announced today and the hype train gained more steam when EA streamed Apex Legends.

No announcement came out of the stream despite practically every comment during the stream asking for some sort of information.

At one point, EA had to say there would be no official information given today, which was later stated again in a Reddit post.

“We’ll be providing details on Season 1, Battle Pass, and the next Legend very soon,” wrote Jayfresh_Respawn on Reddit. “It’s not coming out today.”

Respawn EntertainmentApex Legends is not releasing its Battle Pass today, March 12.

It might look like poor timing on Respawn and EA’s side of things by holding a live stream on the expected day of the new season.

However, it’s worth mentioning there has been no official announcement anything was coming today so it appears everyone was just a victim of their own hype.

This hasn’t stopped fans from voicing their displeasure across social media.

“My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined,” wrote Reddit user Elvenstar32, who was rewarded with two Reddit Silvers and three Reddit Golds for a good usage of that meme.

Many comments in the Reddit thread share the same sentiment, with some taking a joking manner like the above quote while others turn a bit hostile.

“You think they’d buy us dinner before fucking us…” wrote user Oteeksx, who has over 200 upvotes on the comment.

Other players shared their displeasure on Twitter.

We are still in the month of March which means the release window hasn’t been missed and fans should still feel confident that it’s coming out in the next couple of weeks.
