TSM pro player Philip ‘ImperialHal’ Dosen has revealed which weapon he thinks is “broken” and “OP” in Apex Legends Season 13.

Season 13 of Apex Legends introduced the Heroic Defender Newcastle, Ranked Reloaded, and the new Storm Point POI to the Outlands.

However, despite all of these exciting additions, it was the weapon balance changes that had the biggest impact on the meta.

While a lot of the community is still attempting to identify which gun is the strongest in Saviors, ImperialHal has made his stance very clear.

Labeling the Havoc as “broken” and “OP”, Hal explained exactly why the AR is such a strong pick on stream.

ImperialHal thinks the Havoc is “OP” in Season 13

During his May 26 stream, ImperialHal decided to share that he thinks the Havoc is the most “broken” weapon in the current Apex meta.

According to him, the gun has become “OP” since the changes to its recoil in the Saviors patch.

In the seasonal update, Respawn decided to decrease its initial kickback when firing the weapon, making it easier to land shots at long range.

Now, with the Turbocharger equipped, the AR is unmatched from a distance in the right players’ hands and deals a serious amount of damage.

In the clip, Hal specifies that using the 3x optic with the Havoc is a powerful strategy, as the minimal recoil makes it an effective choice for beaming opponents from a distance.

Not only that, the weapon still packs a punch at close range, so there’s no need to worry about carrying a shotgun as your secondary.

So, if you’re looking for a strong and reliable gun in your Apex matches, it may be worth tracking down a Havoc, a 3x scope, and of course, a Turbocharger to remove the wind-up time.
