Apex Legends fans have been clamoring for more unique skin designs and a Star Wars design would be something to look forward to.
Apex Legends has a lot potential for skins but Respawn hasn’t really delivered in that regard just yet, but the door is definitely open to doing so with a community rife with ideas.
With Apex Legends being a first-person game there isn’t as much of an emphasis on skins for characters as there is with Fortnite, a third-person game.
As a result, we’ve been left with more weapon skins that character skins. This isn't exactly a bad thing but given how many skins Overwatch has for being a first-person game, it makes sense for Apex Legends to get the same treatment.
Like Overwatch, Apex Legends features a variety of different characters which allows for different kinds of skins for the entire cast.
Star Wars meets Apex Legends with this crossover concept
An image showing a person in full samurai-themed stormtrooper gear made the rounds on Reddit in both the Apex Legends and Star Wars subreddit where fans got a glimpse at what a new Bloodhound skin could potentially look like.
While getting a Bloodhound Star Wars skin will probably never happen, it's not too outlandish to think of considering EA holds the Star Wars license and publishes Apex Legends.
As mentioned before, this image isn't actually related to Apex Legends but it does allow for some brainstorming about a new Bloodhound skin.
What would make this skin truly a Stormtrooper skin is if your accuracy dropped significantly while wearing it.
A running gag in Star Wars is a Stormtrooper's inability to hit accurate shots as you almost never see them connect with whatever their target is in the movies or TV series.
If a skin like this ever debuts, it'd certainly become one of the more interesting skins currently in the game. In the meantime, we'll just have to stick with what we have.
