Michael ‘ Apex Legends even before the character was released, but his demonstration wasn’t very convincing.

The popular Twitch streamer, who said he “hated” playing with the new addition to the Apex Legends roster back in May during testing, dedicated some time during his July 2 stream to show just how easy it is to combat Wattson’s abilities.

However, while he might have been trying to point out her weaknesses, the former CS:GO pro player couldn’t have been more shocked to find out that he accidentally got a kill.

Respawn EntertainmentWattson’s Perimeter Security ability was questioned by shroud during his July 2 stream.

Shroud started to fire at the corners of Wattson’s Perimeter Security, which is basically an electrical fence defense mechanism, showing his fans the way that he thinks will make it easy to combat her in battle.

“They could just go like this. These aren’t that sick,” he said, aiming in at the fence corners showing its weak spot. “They break very quickly, you just shoot them a couple of times.”

Yet, as it was him that placed it down, the game doesn’t allow him to break it so he decided to stray away from the area and go in search of other players, before the funniest thing happened.

As the ring was closing in and players had to move towards it, the game notified shroud that he had picked up a kill just moments after his demo.

Wattson’s ability ironically knocked down an enemy that was coming up behind him, showing just how effective it can be in some situations, quite the contrary to shroud’s claims.

“Are you serious? Did that just happen?” the streamer said, before breaking into laughter. “Oh my god it does that much damage? I didn’t know. They definitely buffed it then. That should not do that much.”

There’s no way that he could have predicted the thing he was criticising was going to pick up a kill just seconds later. It’s fair to say that his chat couldn’t have been happier.

Will it change his mind about Wattson? Unlikely, but only time will tell.
