Team coordination is essential for success in Apex Legends, and one player’s concept could make fully kitting out your squad even easier.

There are four types of ammunition in Apex Legends: Light, Heavy, Energy and Shotgun Shells, and each of the game’s weapons takes one of these types.

Players can use Apex’s ping system to let their team know what kind of ammo they’re looking for, but one player known as morokoshi0 on Reddit suggested a simple UI change to make things even easier.

Morokoshi0’s concept would add icons to each player’s health bar in the bottom right for what kinds of ammunition their weapons take, as well as what level armor, backpack and dropshield each player has.

While there’s already icons in the inventory screen to tell what level armor your teammates have, there’s currently no way to determine what ammo each player has.

As such, this simple change would make it much easier to find ammunition and make sure your team is ready for the next fight.

Apex players have been coming up with plenty of ideas for the game while they wait for news on the much anticipated Season One pass, which should be coming sometime in March.

Popular Twitch streamer Michael ‘shroud’ Grzesiek hinted that new content would definitely be coming soon, and urged fans to just have a little patience.

Despite the impatience in the community, based on their year one roadmap, Respawn has plenty of content and improvements planned for Apex going forward.
