Apex Legends player makes a total banger out of Revenant’s voice lines

The Apex Legends community has been coming out with incredible tributes to new character Revenant, but a track using his in-game voice lines has to be the best one yet.

People have jumped on the Synthetic Nightmare’s hype train, with fans making everything from clay figures to incredible custom skins to celebrate the release of the twelfth Legend in the game.

While the new character might be one of the more sinister Legends to hit the Apex Games, a new mix retools his menacing sound bites into a classic meme that uses artist S H O K K’s You Reposted In the Wrong Neighborhood as the background track.

The hype for Revenant has inspired a ton of memes from the Apex Legends community.

Spliced together by Apex lore master ‘FrozenFroh,’ the compilation starts off with a nod to the timeless song since the thread is titled “You Respawned In The Wrong Arena” and with Revenant starting off saying “this part never gets old” as the music starts to kick in.

The beat drops with a slew of his lines given new meaning played behind a string of highlights featuring the red Simulacrum.

Even for Revenant, the song slips into a morbid place at the end with the Legend ‘singing’ his in-game line “why can’t I just die already,” but the entire song was an instant hit with the community.

Of course, the song covers the famous line “2 to the 1 to the 1 to the 3,” but again, redone with Revenant emceeing the entire time.

Froh was probably aware of the ramifications this track would have with the game’s community, since people are starting to agree that “we require more of these with other legends.”

In fact, the track is starting to give players some other ideas that it should be incorporated into Apex Legends: “This is incredible and I want it as my dropping music.”

The classic meme gets an Apex Legends makeover.

Respawn are known to indulge in the occasional meme or two, so if the track really gets viral, it wouldn’t be a surprise for it to be included in the game at least as an easter egg.

For those aware of the infectious meme, it won’t be long before someone else or FrozenFroh themselves adds to the ‘You Respawned In The Wrong Arena’ series with compilations starring the other Legends in Apex.
