Splyce have secured the top seed from pool D with a win against eRa.
It’s been an immensely successful first outing for the new Splyce squad so far in Dallas. Described as the most talented roster in Europe, with the group stage now concluded for them they’ve lived up to any expectations that might have been set for them.
Having kicked things off with a fifth-game win against Rise Nation, Splyce cruised through the rest of their pool. After taking a 3-1 victory against Pnda, the team all but tied up a spot in the winner bracket on day one, handing a 3-0 loss to an Enigma6 squad who had yet to lose even a single map until that point.
The team’s final group stage match would be against open bracket qualifiers eRa on day two. For Splyce, it looked a fairly simply affair, picking up another 3-0 victory to go 4-0 in the pool and ensure themselves not only a spot in the winner bracket, but with the top seed from their group.
So far, Trei ‘Zer0’ Morris seems to have been a fantastic addition to the squad, notably pulling out huge performances in a number of Search and Destroy games. This was a roster built to not only be the best in Europe, but challenge the world’s elite on the international stage, and so far they look primed to do so.
